Austin Heights is a neighbourhood of Coquitlam, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,444 living in private households. 44.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Korean at 9.2%. 52.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 39.1% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $59,200 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 70.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.66 km², giving a population density of 5,218 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
