Fairview (east-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,375 living in private households. 37.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 15.5%. 61.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 33.9% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $104,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 52.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.25 km², giving a population density of 13,468 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
