Industrial North-East is a neighbourhood of Richmond, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,586 living in private households. 86.9% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 44.1%. 12.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 58.1% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $102,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 24.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 3.08 km², giving a population density of 1,163 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
