City Centre is a neighbourhood of Richmond, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,724 living in private households. 83.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 47.2%. 16.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 68.7% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $63,600 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 41.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.21 km², giving a population density of 18,025 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
