Langley (north-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Langley, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,418 living in private households. 17.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 6.0%. 77.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 5.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 17.0% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $129,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 9.6% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 15.18 km², giving a population density of 423 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
