Marpole (southeast) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,151 living in private households. 55.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 15.5%. 41.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 44.9% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $57,200 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 88.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.38 km², giving a population density of 5,185 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
