Oakridge (west) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,447 living in private households. 79.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 58.1%. 20.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 56.1% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $77,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 41.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.42 km², giving a population density of 3,848 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
