Oakridge (east) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,455 living in private households. 74.9% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 46.1%. 24.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 47.3% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $99,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 36.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.89 km², giving a population density of 5,014 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
