Pitt Meadows (south 2) is a neighbourhood of Pitt Meadows, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,116 living in private households. 21.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 4.4%. 74.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 22.3% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $135,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 8.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.72 km², giving a population density of 1,880 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
