Pitt Meadows (west) is a neighbourhood of Pitt Meadows, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,473 living in private households. 28.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 5.8%. 68.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 30.1% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $93,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 24.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 26.89 km², giving a population density of 278 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
