Sunbury is a neighbourhood of Delta, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,009 living in private households. 45.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 25.4%. 50.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 31.7% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $121,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 18.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 3.33 km², giving a population density of 1,806 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
