West Lynn is a neighbourhood of North Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 8,422 living in private households. 31.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was West Asian at 9.5%. 66.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 33.2% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $104,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 34.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.97 km², giving a population density of 2,832 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
