Central Lonsdale (south-southeast) is a neighbourhood of North Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,664 living in private households. 48.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was West Asian at 21.8%. 50.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 47.0% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $68,500 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 61.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.30 km², giving a population density of 18,749 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
