Central Lonsdale (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of North Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,992 living in private households. 37.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 13.3%. 60.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 42.2% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $87,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 44.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.59 km², giving a population density of 8,488 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
