Lower Lonsdale (northeast) is a neighbourhood of North Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,683 living in private households. 33.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 10.1%. 64.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 41.2% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $70,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 63.6% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.34 km², giving a population density of 16,784 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
