Coal Harbour (southwest) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,370 living in private households. 59.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 14.0%. 38.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 48.6% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $74,500 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 62.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.13 km², giving a population density of 26,267 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
