Dartmoor (west) is a neighbourhood of Coquitlam, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,077 living in private households. 49.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 14.6%. 48.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 38.5% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $120,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 18.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.21 km², giving a population density of 2,748 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
