Fleetwood (northeast 2) is a neighbourhood of Surrey, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,991 living in private households. 70.9% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 34.7%. 28.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 50.1% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $104,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 20.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.60 km², giving a population density of 2,692 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
