Johnston Heights (west) is a neighbourhood of Surrey, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,307 living in private households. 71.9% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 22.5%. 24.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 53.2% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $95,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 28.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.41 km², giving a population density of 1,370 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
