Johnston Heights (north-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Surrey, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,146 living in private households. 66.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 18.2%. 31.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 57.8% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $65,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 45.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.67 km², giving a population density of 7,685 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
