Killarney (south-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,949 living in private households. 65.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 30.3%. 32.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 44.8% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $88,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 49.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.94 km², giving a population density of 3,581 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
