Langley (south-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Langley, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,331 living in private households. 15.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 8.2%. 79.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 18.3% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $103,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 24.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 72.40 km², giving a population density of 87 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
