Hopington is a neighbourhood of Langley, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,973 living in private households. 9.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 3.8%. 85.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 5.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 13.1% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $128,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 10.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 19.03 km², giving a population density of 314 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
