Little Italy (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,196 living in private households. 37.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 9.1%. 55.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 7.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 29.7% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $61,600 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 64.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.31 km², giving a population density of 10,424 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
