Little Saigon (northwest) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,032 living in private households. 40.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 12.9%. 56.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 31.3% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $96,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 49.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.60 km², giving a population density of 8,363 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
