North Dunbar (south) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,591 living in private households. 32.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 18.1%. 66.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 30.2% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $100,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 44.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.09 km², giving a population density of 6,061 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
