South Hill (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,047 living in private households. 64.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 17.9%. 33.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 44.9% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $91,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 51.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.65 km², giving a population density of 6,185 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
