Harbour Village (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Coquitlam, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,779 living in private households. 71.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 23.4%. 27.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 53.9% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $63,600 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 49.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.60 km², giving a population density of 11,285 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
