Johnston Heights (east-northeast 2) is a neighbourhood of Surrey, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,701 living in private households. 76.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 24.5%. 22.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 61.4% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $94,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 28.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.31 km², giving a population density of 5,122 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
