West Bay is a neighbourhood of West Vancouver, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,731 living in private households. 33.9% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 19.3%. 65.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 35.8% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $170,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 17.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 3.30 km², giving a population density of 1,130 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
