Burke Mountain (east) is a neighbourhood of Coquitlam, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,938 living in private households. 69.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 30.5%. 27.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 49.3% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $107,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 20.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.42 km², giving a population density of 799 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
