Burke Mountain (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Coquitlam, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,317 living in private households. 65.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 32.6%. 33.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 51.5% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $148,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 12.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.64 km², giving a population density of 3,614 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
