Burke Mountain (southwest) is a neighbourhood of Coquitlam, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,890 living in private households. 57.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 24.0%. 42.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 42.1% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $143,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 18.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.61 km², giving a population density of 3,111 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
