Fleetwood (east-southeast 2) is a neighbourhood of Surrey, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,808 living in private households. 72.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 25.3%. 27.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 49.9% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $118,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 17.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.90 km², giving a population density of 4,217 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
