Gilmore is a neighbourhood of Richmond, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,464 living in private households. 50.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 31.3%. 49.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 37.7% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $101,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 13.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 15.69 km², giving a population density of 476 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
