Census Tract 0401.01 · Maple Ridge · Vancouver, British Columbia

Haney is a neighbourhood of Maple Ridge, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,802 living in private households. 19.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 4.9%. 72.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 7.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 23.3% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $79,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 46.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.45 km², giving a population density of 1,927 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
