Moffatt (south-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Richmond, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,268 living in private households. 85.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 64.7%. 14.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 69.0% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $84,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 14.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.34 km², giving a population density of 3,195 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
