Willingdon Heights (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Burnaby, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 12,063 living in private households. 65.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 29.3%. 33.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 46.1% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $88,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 32.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.22 km², giving a population density of 5,441 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
