Ioco (south) is a neighbourhood of Port Moody, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,121 living in private households. 22.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 4.3%. 74.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 29.1% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $115,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 24.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 3.09 km², giving a population density of 1,334 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
