Pleasantside (south) is a neighbourhood of Port Moody, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,792 living in private households. 33.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 8.4%. 62.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 30.9% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $99,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 38.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 3.40 km², giving a population density of 1,703 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
