Blundell (south 2) is a neighbourhood of Richmond, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,590 living in private households. 84.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 71.0%. 15.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 64.0% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $100,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 11.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.32 km², giving a population density of 4,231 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
