Queensborough is a neighbourhood of New Westminster, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 8,144 living in private households. 83.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 33.9%. 15.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 51.5% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $117,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 26.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.72 km², giving a population density of 2,993 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
