Brow of the Hill (southwest 2) is a neighbourhood of New Westminster, in Metro Vancouver. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,768 living in private households. 39.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 54.5% across Metro Vancouver as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 8.4%. 55.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 33.5% of the population, compared with 41.8% citywide. Median household income before tax was $67,000 in 2020, compared with $90,000 for Metro Vancouver. 59.6% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.41 km², giving a population density of 11,712 people per square kilometre (Metro Vancouver averages about 879).
